Education Week BYU-Aug 17-21

Registration has started for those wishing to attend BYU Education Week this year. This is a wonderful experience which the church began in the 1920's. Thousands of classes are taught by hundreds of presenters. You will find almost every subject you could possibly be interested in. From learning more about the Lord to learning how to folk dance, scripture and music, gardening, history, Joseph Smith, overcoming depression, improving marriages and memory, family history, Abraham Lincoln, and learning how to better use the computer, all are there for the taking and many, many more.

Also, there are youth classes taught for those age 14-18. A youth dance is held on Thurs. evening and typically 2000 young men and women attend.

Elder Boyd K. Packer will be the Devotional speaker this year! There is a shortened schedule on Monday with classes ending at 4pm. The rest of the week classes begin at 8:30am and end at 9:30pm. Evening performances are also presented Tuesday through Friday.

Follow the link under "Linking Up" on the left of the blog page or call 1-801-422-8925 for registration. For a slightly higher fee you may also register at the door.
